The First Türkiye Energy Start-Up Day in Istanbul
On 30th November 2023, the Turkish-German Energy Partnership organised the first "Türkiye Energy Start-Up Day" in Istanbul and brought together key players from the Turkish energy start-up ecosystem. The event attracted a diverse group of participants, including major corporations, accelerator programmes, start-ups, and investors, all focused on driving innovation in the sector.
The day featured two insightful panel discussions that explored the Turkish energy ecosystem and emphasised the importance of collaboration between emerging start-ups and established companies. Following these discussions, start-ups took center stage, presenting their projects and accomplishments in a series of dynamic pitches. Additionally, various organisations shared how they support start-ups through funding and mentoring initiatives.
With 120 participants from both Germany and Türkiye, the event fostered a lively exchange of ideas, questions, and potential partnerships. The interactive sessions provided valuable networking opportunities, paving the way for a promising future in Turkish-German energy cooperation and innovation.
